If you are looking for a truly original taste of Danang, then you must try My Quang or Quang Noodles. My Quang is half noodle soup and half noodle salad with a lot of local ingredient. My Quang is a bowl filled with white or yellow noodes, pork, prawns or chicken or even … frog with a shallow spoon of broth and toppings such as: raw peanut oil and cu nen – the local ingredient like garlic which is fried in the oil before joining the bowl. The other toppings include cracked rice crackers, crunchy banana flowers (hoa chuoi), green chillies and lemons. My Quang is only really popular in Central Vietnam and it is delicious.

If you are in the search of true Banh Xeo, you should check-in at Quán Bánh Xèo Bà Dưỡng. Once you are seated, you’ll be served with very big pancakes and nem Lui (pork meatball on the stick) that you can dip in a very interesting peanut sauce. This place is super busy with a lot of local visitors which is describled as the best Banh XEo in Town. This is off the beaten track but yet on the tracks for the best Da Nang offers. It is fun to eat at super cheap around $2-3 USD.
This restaurant is at the end of a closed street with a few other bánh xèo spots that’ll try to lure you theirs. Don’t be tempted and walk straight to the end for the best bánh xèo in town.
Ofcourse, when it comes to Danang, it is huge miss if not to mentioned Seafood. There are plenty of seafood options in town. Most of them serve with the fresh seafoods. The experience with the seafood here would be like: Choose a seafood restaurant along the beach. Grab a table when you arrive then walk to the back of the restaurants where you’ll find a array of buckets filled with live seafood to choose from. There are a lot of fish as well as clams, sea snails, lobster, crab. You simple just point at your seafood of choice and quote your table number .The live seafood will be weighed and there’ll be an exchange of words that you’ll try to decipher, but it’s probably best to head back to said table and wait to see how your fish will be served.
Clams are most popularly cooked in its own juices and flavoured with typical Vietnamese spices that are salty, bitter, spicy, sweet and sour. Order a whole fish and it may come with a fish head vegetable soup and a grilled body so you can wrap chunky fillets in fresh rice paper rolls.
